My seagate external hard drive started making a strange sound and now it says 0 bytes... all of my stuff is missing. Please tell me there's a way to fix this.

Under properties it says 100% used, but there's nothing there. The blue light is on, I've checked all my connections, restarted it, etc...

Download testdisk and run it to see if it recognised in the list. If so use the intel option to find a boot sector

Try using the device on another PC & see if it works. if it does then you have a issue with your PC. whast the OS you are using? also try another USB port.

You may use data recovery software to see if you can rescue the files on your external HD.

It may unable to recover all the files, but at least most of them.

My seagate 500gb external hdd recognize in device manager.

I would get a bootable linux distro and boot up and use the partion manager there. (knoppix) If that does not work I would get the factory diagnostic tool from seagate and if it gave errors return it for warrenty or if not under warrenty least you will know there is something funny with the hardware.

Seagate 500gb Agentfree Making a beep every 15 seconds

It sounds like your hard drive is damaged my friend. Hard drives are very, very dilicate pieces of machinary. The disk is paper thin and any sudden jarring, especiaiy dropping it creates a warp in the drive. Unplug it to prevent further damage. Don't worry in many cases you can have the data retrieved from your hard drive by using this online company that I highly recommend:

Crashed hard drive

Seagate File Recovery for Windows is one of the best programs I've used. I had an external drive that was totally invisible to Windows until I popped it with this stuff and was able to retrieve everything on the drive within minutes. The stuff costs $129 but is well worth it. You should download the free trial just to see if it will access your data after which you can decide if it's worth the purchase price to recover everything...

Seagate 120GB 2.5" with USB 2.0 HDD external Case

Did you try reinstalling the drivers and software for it? I have a Seagate FreeAgent drive and once it went to sleep, it did that exact same thing. I kept playing with it, and rebooting the PC and it finally woke up. On the FreeAgent I was able to then tell it never to sleep again.

Lightly Dropped Seagate 100GB External Hard Drive

Unfortunately, this probably means the read/write heads were jarred and can no longer function properly. That's usually fixable, but it's a very expensive fix because the parts are inside the hard drive and the data surfaces are very delicate... Most people are better off simply replacing the hard drive unless the data is absolutely vital.
