I cannot load a recently purchased copy of Sid Meiers Gettysburg stated as windows 95/98 compatible.Tried all permutations of the compatability wizard.

It basically says to get VirtualBox for old Windows games and DOSBox for old dos games.

In most dll related problems. You can either have it totally gone or there is a version conflict...

1. Pinpoint the filename or which dll or ocx exactly fails...
2. Search for dll file from a site like http://www.dll4free.com or http://www.missingocx.com
3. Download and reinstall
4. That should done the trick...

it does appear that even create 4 didn't have windows 7 support. You may try installing and then changing to windowsxp compatible mode by right clicking the icon and selecting properties and the compatibility tab then place a check in "run this program in compatibility mode" and choose windopws xp. and or install virtual PC with windowsxp compatible then install and run your older software in a virtual machine.

Right Click the shortcut to run the game, click "run as administrator" and "run in compatibility with windows xp"

I like this game, also sid myers has one called railroads.

Try installing it in compatibility mode or as administrator.

If its already installed then right click on the desktop icon,go to properties,compatability,and choose xp sp3.

you will have to try using compatability mode to load and use these applications.

What operating system are you trying to run it on?
2 for 1: Dracula Resurrection & The Last Sanctuary runs on the following operating systems: Windows 98/ME/XP it is possible that its not compatible with which ever operating system your trying to get it to load on. But have no fear, a possible fix for it is right clicking the .exe that you run the game with and click Properties at the bottom of the list. Once that loads go to the "Compatibility" tab and under Compatibility Mode select Windows XP (service pack 2) , if that doesn't work try Windows 98 / Windows ME. If you visit their website specific to the games you have, there should be a compatibility list.

Sounds like it is not compatible but it's worth a check.
