I just wanted to post how I repaired my flipper sensor board (11001182 ) for my Skybox Beverage Dispenser to help the next person looking for this impossible to find part. I repaired mine by removing the flipper sensor board and replaced the Hall Effect switch (looks like a transistor) with another one using part number A3213EUA-T (google it. Its also available on Amazon funny enough). If you are handy with a soldering iron this is an easy fix. On mine the circuit trace near the screw through hole on the circuit board was also damaged so I soldered a wire across it after scraping it clean. I then coated everything with black silicone glue to help keep the moisture under control and put it back in. Works perfectly.

My skybox will not dispense. When a button is pushed, all indicator lights flash. All conpartments are full. I have removed all cans from the machine to check for jams in each individual compartment and...

I had this exact same problem and it was the door sensor for the flipper where they come out. I used a door alarm contact and it fixed the issue. $5 to fix it and get it up and running again.

Dispencer will send out can and then stop

What are the front-door lights doing when it stops? There are other posts about this. It's very likely that the flipper door sensor has corroded. With power off, remove the sensor board and clean it with a stiff brush (remove ALL corrosion), then coat it with blue oxygen-sensor-safe RTV (auto parts store), let dry, then re-install. I have all of the information necessary to make new flipper door sensors. I also have the manufacturing troubleshooting guide. [email protected]

The part I need for my Maytag Skybox is NO LONGER AVAILABLE! UGH!!! Part# 11001182 Door Flipper Sensor. Is there a way to "short out" the old sensor so that it "always" shows the door in the proper...

You can not short it out as the purpose is to tell the board that a dispensed beveraged has been removed from the bin. It will not dispense another beverage until the signal is received. The danger could be a second "glass" bottle coming down into one in the bin and breaking. The small board can be removed, cleaned with a very small stiff bristled brush, then reinstalled. It contains a hall effect sensor that reacts to a magnet in the flipper door.

Maytag skybox

Problem may be the PCB board (w/Sensor) for the Flipper Door. It has a tendency to become corroded due to condensation that can build up by the door. Maytag replacement part number is 11001182. Part is hard to find. I was able to get one after much searching. Within 3 days it was out of stock again.

To combat the condensation (and ICE build up on the rear main board), turn the fridge down to half and keep the front lights off as much as possible. You may want to play with the settings a little depending on the area of the country you are in (dry Arizona as opposed to wet Washington State) but you shouldn't have to go below half.

Even though the lights are flouresent, they still throw off a lot of heat which causes condensation. The fridge runs longer to combat the heat so the added moisture freezes in the back (where the cooling elements are) and the condensation builds up in the front where the sensor and heat source is. It's cool enough in front to hinder evaporation and because the fridge runs longer you don't get that defrost period (if you will) in the back that regular frost free refrigerators or freezers have, thus the ice build up. This will greatly reduce condensation but may not get rid of it all. The front door is not to well insulated. Hope this helps.

Maytag Skybox

Looks like I found the answer to the problem of Skybox not dispensing. I replaced the sensor in the dispensing door and my Skybox now works great!
Part is available from partselect.com just look up your Skybox model number, mine was Skybox model MBV1976AAB. The diagram on the website should show you the exploded view of the door section of your Skybox. You are looking for partselect.com part number 901892 or on the exploded view it will be number 21. The Maytag part number is 11001182, board flipper sensor. My Skybox had been down for two years and now works again!

Skybox won't dispense anything

REMOVE LITTLE BOARD FROM END OF 3 WIRE HARNESS. 3 WIRES ARE   COM   ,NORM OPEN   NORM CLOSED . 1 WIRE SHOULD HAVE X ON IT. THIS IS NORM CLOSED. DO NOT NEED THIS WIRE.  THE 2 END WIRES ARE DEAD SHORT DO NOT  TOUCH TOGETHER. JUST MIDDLE WIRE AND WIRE WITHOUT X PRINTED ON IT. IF YOU DO NOT SEE X ON WIRE JUST HOOK UP MIDDLE AND 1 END WIRE , WHEN YOU CONNECT DOOR PLUG AND TAPE BLACK MAIN DOOR SWITCH CLOSED THE RIGHT 2 WIRES WILL ACTIVATE DISPENSER .HOOK UP THESE WIRES TO A COMMON WINDOW ALARM SWITCH MAGNET TYPE. SILICONE TERMINAL MAGNET TO UPPER RIGHT DOOR FRAME ,THE OTHER MAGNET TO UPPER RIGHT FLAPPER DOOR SIDE , MAGNETS MY HAVE TO BE 1 INCH APART TO OPEN WHEN CAN JARS THE DOOR. WHEN SILICONE DRIES HOOK UP THE MIDDLE WIRE AND END WIRE THAT ACTIVATES DISPENSER  NOW YOU HAVE AN OPEN AND CLOSE WAY TO RESET DISPENSER CYCLE.  NOTE  DO NOT USE END WIRES TOGETHER    CENTER WIRE ONLY   X WIRE NOT USED.
