usually to restore you have to use the same program u used for to make the back-up file ...or ..if it is a recovery file ..just insert the memory unit you have it on ..and click on the executable ...(in normal conditions it should open itself with the software used for to make it in the first place ... If the resetting cause the program to disappear..just reinstall that program first ..and use the recover feature from the program ...to access the back -up file ..

In most cases this will resolve slow performance from outdated Windows instructions and Registry errors.
Next go to My Computer / Right click on C drive (boot drive) and select Properties. Go to Tools and select Defrag Drive. If problem is serious you should also run Check Disk and select to make automatic repairs. These programs will take some time to run.
If the problem still persists, update and run your Anti-Virus software. If you do not have Anti-Virus software go to www.download.com and select AVG Free from the right hand column. This is a very good Free Anti-Virus software.

viruses often plant themselves firmly in the system restore files. They could also be preventing you from executing it. If you have "rogue programs" a system restore almost never works. You need to either clean the rogue programs in safe mode or backup your files and reinstall from scratch.
