Cannot open my laptop - Compaq tc4200 Tablet PC

1. First of all, you must have messenger app to open your messages
2. try closing the app, restarting your ipad & re-open the FB app again.
3. Uninstall app & install a clean version again
4. if above didn't work; you can use safari to open your FB account as if you are opening it from a desktop/laptop

not a laptop, slow processing speed, not enough ram to do all the tasks, close open windows and open apps, see if it helps

To connect up a tablet with a laptop you need to connect them with a USB cable.

On plugging in the cable with the tablet powered up, you should see two things.

1. A question on the tablet as to whether you want to use memory disc mode or diagnostic(ADB) mode. Choose Memory disc mode.

2. You should see on the PC laptop it recognise that an external device is connected, it may recognise it as a phone or a memory drive.

If neither of these things is happening it is probably the cable at fault.

The tablet should then start providing the pc laptop with the drivers it requires to be recognised. If this does not happen, then the fault is with the tablet and you have to consult your supplier.

You should end up with at least one memory drive which you can browse through with the PC's file manager. The data will be on the tablet.

Press firmly down with your thumb on the laptop base just above the F4 / F5 keys, if the display improves while doing this it is simply a loose connection which is common for tablet pc's. If this does not help, then it is either a short in the connection or worse case an issue with what is called the inverter. In any case this is an issue that requires opening up your laptop to fix. If you are not comfortable doing this sort of work call up your local computer repair shop, I recommend a personal business over a corporate one, as you will receive better customer service and more likely than not if it is a simple cable connection issue small businesses will take a few minutes out of their day to fix it on the spot and charge you far less.

open network connections on your laptop and select both the wireless adapter AND the internet connection adapter in there and right click on them and click bridge connections. Then go into the network setup wizard (XP) or network and sharing center and click connect to a network and choose adhoc connection. then open wireless settings on the coby kyros and connect to the adhoc connection on your laptop. You should then be able to connect to the internet on it

did u hibernated the last time?!
any way try pressing F8 while booting, and login to safe mode, open command prompt and type chkdsk, restart and try again...it might be some hardware,driver or disk problem.

This could be caused by heat coming from the inside of laptop, which could possibly be a larger problem than just the screw coming off.

I would recommend taking it to a technician at this point because the inside of a laptop can be very confusing. It has so many small parts and is very sensitive to static electricity.

This will allow the technician to run it thru a few test and make sure the laptop itself is not overheating. If it is, then they will recommend a fix for the problem. Most times, this is caused by a bad fan or clogged vent in the laptop, dust, debris, etc.

I suggest that you enter the Bios setup and choose the option of load-failsafe defaults instead of opening the laptop

If it was working fine before then are many reasons why this could happen
1. Battery is old and is dead
2. Battery not plugged in properly
3. Carbon might have appeared at the ports where the charge passes thru in the laptop
Solution: open the cover where u put the battery, The ports where the battery goes in , try to touch the metal area with any other metal so that if there is any carbon it passes thru to the other metal... and the ports become free
4. Try to do a flee power release
MAke sure battery is fully charged.
Take out the battery from laptop
when the battery is out , press the powe button on laptop for 30 sec and then put the battery in ur lapyop and try to trun it on by pressing the power button firmly.
IT shud work

Try different batteries ( u can borrow )
if it still does not work
They contact laptop vendor , the ports where the power from battery goes in to ur system are faulty
Take it to an authorized service center.
