How to factory reset a nortel 2033 - Nortel Audio Conference Phone 2033 (NTEX11AA70E6)

has it always been like that or it just started. this can be a speaker gone bad or an unstable line. a simple service may correct that effectively.

Follow these steps:

1. Connect to the console port of the switch (9600,8,N,1)
   
2. Reboot the switch.
3. When the first line of the diagnostics tests is displayed, press CTRL-C. The system then displays a menu.
4. Select option "i" to factory default the switch.
5. Select option "a" to run the agent code.

Upon boot up, the switch will be in a factory default configuration.

Press the "Callers" button, then the "Delete" button. This will erase all caller history, but should fix the light problem.

when you plug it in, and the Nortel logo appears on the screen, swipe the three buttons that are under the display, with your finger, and that will get you into programming.
you will select following
Manual DHCP config? yes
Partial? yes
enter the IP address of your system
for port #: enter: 7000
retries: enter 5
for the rest of the programming select "0" till the end

try upgrading the phone

Go into settings and it should be at the bottom "Restore to factory default"

There's no way that you can restore a lost password of your router. The only way you can do is to reset it to factory default and you must know the default username and password of your router. Some of the router manufacturers uses: admin for username and pass for password, some just leaves the password blank but put admin for the username.

Find and depress the reset button on the bottom/back of the unit to hard-reset the router to factory defaults. Note: this will lose all user configured options but will set the login for the router back to defaults. Check your owners manual for the default login and configuration options.

From what I have been able to research on this router, the username and password for this router may be:
USERNAME: sysadmin
PASSWORD: nortel

But this information is unconfirmed.
