SOURCE: lg lsc27910tt water/ice dispenser sticks in the on

I had the same issue with mine but it is fairly easy to fix, all you need is patience.

1. Press the "Lock" button to ensure nothing is dispensed while performing the fix (worth testing).

2. Remove the grey rubber push from the dispenser carefully (give this part a wash in warm soapy water and leave to dry).

I used a small flat bladed screwdriver but BE CAREFUL not to damage it on removal.

3. Spray a small amount of WD40 (or similar oil) using the straw attachment into the mechanism, especially the spring.

4. Work the mechanism a few times (observe point #1) to ensure it is not sticking.

5. Get a chair.

6. Re-fit the rubber surround following these tips:

a) Starting at the top on the right hand side start gently pushing the rubber lip into the chrome surround.

b) Ensure as you work around the rubber that the legs locate into the holes (use the small screwdriver to guide them in).

c) Work around clockwise using the screwdriver to ease the rubber into the chrome surround.

d) Once in place you can work around again with the handle of the screwdriver putting slightly more pressure on the edge of the rubber (where it meets the metal surround, this will ensure that it locks back under the lip.

***Be patient when refitting the rubber part, it takes a good 15-20 minutes but not doing it right will result in more problems***

Hope this helps!

How do I fix the water dispenser on my LG refrigerator?

#1 cause is the water filter. There may be other blockages in the line. Change the filter one more time and allow the air to purge out of the line. You will make a mess.

My LG lsc27910tt ice maker arm is stuck in the up position and won't budge.

there is a good chance that some ice has jammed in there somehow. have you tried defrosting the machine... that would be the first thing to try.

LG refrigerator won't dispense water any more

The water line is freezing in the door due to deteriorated insulation. The only fix I have found to work on my fridge was to defrost the inside door with a blow dryer. Then place a weedeater replacement line (the orange 10" or so size you find at Lowes' or Home Depot) up through the dispenser nozzle, If the line only travels about 3-4 inches up the nozzle, then ice is still in the tube. Blow dry it until you are able to get water to dispense. After the tube is ice-free, place the weedeater line up throuth the dispenser nozzle leaving about 1/8" sticking out. The dispenser will still work with the line stuck in it. The dispenser will probably freeze again in about 8 hours, But all you need to do each time this happens is to pull the weedeater line out, dispense the water to unclog the ice, and place the weedeater line back in the nozzle. I have been using this method for about a week now and it works great. My GE Side-by-side is also 4 years old and this seems to be a problem with all of them. There is a part you can order to fix the problem, but I have heard it may not work.

The lever is stuck on my LG ice dispenser

You'll need to replace the whole ice maker system. Problem exist in the mechanical box connected to the lever which once opened is almost impossible to re-assemble. Cost around $95.00
