Hard Reset: 1.Power OFF the handset. 2.Now press and hold the Volume Up, Muve Music key and the Power keys for 10 seconds. 3.A test screen (Triangle / Exclamation mark) will be displayed as below. 4.Press the Volume Up and Volume Down keys simultaneously to access the System Recovery screen. 5.Scroll using Volume and select "Wipe Data/Factory reset" and press the Muve key. 6.Scroll using Volume and select "Yes - delete all user" and press the Muve key. 7.When complete the system recovery screen is displayed. 8.Select "reboot system now" and press the Muve key. Master Reset: 1.Tap the Menu key 2.Tap Settings 3.Scroll to and tap Privacy 4.Tap Factory data reset 5.Read the message about erasing data 6.Tap Reset phone 7.Tap Erase everything.
I'd assume its a mixture of both. If the app wasnt properly coded for your phone it may have incompatibility issues. Short of changing the version of your Operating System, i dont see how else you can get it to work. Try contacting the app publishers, see what they say.
