The mp3 player organizes by ID3 tag information, which is on the individual song. It unfortunately doesn't organize it any other way. Album art is not supported by the MP3 player. You can copy it over but it wont show, probably just see the default keyboard image.
You can edit the ID3 information with a tag editor..the naming has nothing to do with it, most of Coby's MP3 players have no sort order for music outside of what I just explained.
The Disney Mix Max portable media player is capable of playing audio files in the MP3 format. It can also play videos formatted as WMV and display photos formatted as JPEG. You can convert audio files into MP3 using the Disney Mix Max software -- Mix It Plug-in. The plug-in works with Windows Media Player 10. This software CD came with the player and is not available online. To download music to the device, you can use Windows Media Player 10 or Windows.

Tips & Warnings
If you converted files using the Mix It Plug-In, you will need to use Windows Media Player 10 to sync them to the player.
I clearly understand your problem.....the best way to sort it would be to create a new music folder...put all album folders separately in this new folder....rename songs in the respective albums folder and then sync this folder to your player....try with a couple of songs first...if it works you can change your entire library as mentioned above....a difficult job...but helps manage your music better..:)
rename the file types as follows (artist name - song title.mp3) example (Lit - Miserable.mp3)
otherwise you must edit the song info in each indivicual song from your computer and add the artist name by right-clicking the file and selecting properties........thanks and pls rate this post
1. plug player into usb device. 2. I know this is a pain. But rename each song in player to what the song is. example. unknown.mp3 to Archies-sugar sugar.mp3
The funny~.mp3 names are usually because the title field is not filled in in the mp3 property tags, so it uses the DOS version of the filename for the title. Under windows, right click the song and select properties->summary->advanced, and make sure that the title field under "description" has what you want in it. I don't think even the makers of Ilo know how it organizes the files.
