Gear or key could be sheared or broken or stripped. disassemble to see. Try to turn tines freehand if they turn internal problem exist disassemble to repair.

Make sure the depth stake (behind the tines) is up as high as it will go. This will allow the tines to go deeper.
Fire it up. Set the tine rotation to reverse (more mixing and twisting.

double check to make sure you have the new tines in the right direction. also you could try to raise your machine, as the new tines are digging better it might not have to be as low as you had to go with your old ones.
Are you getting a check engien light on in your dash ?
You should have a OBD II reader plugged to retrieve any codes to help figure this out.
It could be about 6 different sensors ect.
