Back light failure is a common problem with these sets. If it is so, I am afraid you can not repair it by yourself. You will need a qualified and experienced technician to handle it.

I have this same wheel. The information off of the power supply: Model: AD-48130850, Input: 120V AC 60Hz 0.3mA., Output: 13V DC 850mA. Hope this helps.

It is a standard power plug.
Take radio to Tandys/**** smiths or electrical store - they will have one for sure.

You may even have same cord around the house.
Voltage and watts do not matter - should be just a 240 power cord like radios, kettles, TV's, VCR, DVD players use.

You need a power cord with AC 120V, 60Hz 20 Watts. You may be able to get this from your local Radio Shack.
