I went to the Krups web site and pulled a copy of the manual for a different model with the same user interface. This solution worked fine. My model (on the baseplate) is AG E 15. The manual that I printed was for a FMF5. Cheers!
My Krups was not working after I accidentally forgot to place the black plastic lid on the coffee carafe BEFORE starting to brew a new batch of coffee. The coffee will not drip into the carafe without the lid
in place. Because the lid is hidden when placed in the coffee maker, it's easy to forget! The coffee all backed up in the filter area and overflowed. The display got wet. Not good.....
If your buttons and or display is not working ( mine got wet with coffee) simply flip the coffee maker over. Unscrew the bottom. expose the display circuit board carefully, DRY it with a HAIR DRYER and put the unit back together! Presto! Mine is working again.
If you need a new circuit board, you can get one for $35 from Appliances.com I found. They also have the Duo filter and extra parts cheaper than the Krups website.
The manual is here:

Here is the relevant information from it:
Setting Auto On

by “8888“.
• Press the prog button briefly: the hours will blink “88 _ _“.
• Adjust the hours in steps by pressing the h/min button (n).
• Press the prog button briefly: the minutes will blink “XX 88“.
• Adjust the minutes in steps by pressing the h/min button .
• Confirm the setting by pressing the prog button briefly:
• The display (q) will show the time and a “ “.
• Press the h/min button to cancel the programming.
I took the bottom off mine and found that a hose that connected to to the water level tube had become disconnected. In order to get the bottom off you need a Torx internal tamperproof pin (6 lobe) screwdriver to get the 5 screws out.
