clear any past stored passwords. reset unit and put into discovery mode. Usually holding the pair button for a few seconds puts the LED blue into fast flashing - discvery mode
1.) Enable Bluetooth on your phone/device and go to "search for devices" on it. Pic below is the screen on the iPhone, go to "settings" and then "general" to get there:
2.) Push the audio control button on the right side of your stereo on your speed3 a few times until "BT Setup" shows up and then spin to the right to choose "pair device" and click it.
3.) After a delay "Mazda" should show up on your device list on the iPhone. Choose it and then enter the pin "0000" and it should connect.
Is the multifunction button on the K100 allowing it to go into pairing mode? With speakerphone turned off, activate Bluetooth pairing mode by pressing and holding the Multifunction button to turn on speakerphone. The LED flashes red/blue to indicate pairing mode.
Key-in, Ignition On (but don't need to start the engine)Press the R/T button on the steering wheel. "Activate Phone" should display on the radio. On the iPhone search the BT device. Select your car and enter the passkey when prompt on the iphone. Make sure there is no other BT phone near-by or the old one that has paired with the car previously. There is also the maximum number of devices you can have in the BMW BT sharing. If you reach the max, you may have to clear the car BT pairing memory by removing the power to the BT unit (by removing a fuse in the rear fuse box). The info is in the manual and inside the fuse box (which tell you which fuse is for the BT.)

Manual pairing modeIf you wish to use the headset with a different phone, or if thepairing process was interrupted, you can manually set the headsetto pairing mode.Make sure the headset is on. Press and hold the answer/end buttonfor approximately 5 seconds until the Bluetooth icon turns froma steady light to a flashing light. Then repeat steps 2 and 3 in theabove pairing guide.Connecting with your phonePairing is only needed the first time a headset and phone areused together. When the headset and phone have been pairedonce, they will automatically connect when the headset is on andBluetooth is activated on the phone. The headset can be usedwhen it is connected to the phone. If the devices are paired, butdo not immediately connect, tap the answer/end button. Whenyour headset is connected the Bluetooth connection icon in theSTATUSDISPLAY WILL BE CONSTANT ON FOR 3 SECONDS andthe headset voice guidance will say connected.
Once you make your iphone discoverable, then put the Plantronics 903
headset into pairing
mode by pressing the power button until it flashes red and
