I have recently bought a second hand 32 inch flatscreen tv and it didnt have the screws in back of the tv i am tryin to find out the size of the screws so i can fit an anti tip strap to it the strap i bought came with the screws but they didn't find any help would b greatful thanks angie

It can be costly and difficult to replace the internals of any flatscreen television screen. Your best bet is to consult an electronics professional in your area for an estimate in repairs.
If you are a technically inclined person and you've got nothing to lose, you could always try ordering a new board online and attempting an install on your own.
Take a look at NewEgg, they usually have a good deal now and again on electronics parts, televisions included.

You can find the manual for your TV here.
Your Thomson TV is compatible with a VESA FDMI (Flat Display Mounting Interface.)
These typically use "VESA screws."
VESA screws tend to be metric sizes of M4 (0.7mm pitch). The length is typically 10mm, but would depend on the bracket (if you don't have a gauge handy, just put a small stick of some sort in there and mark it off with a felt pen, then measure).
Washers are a really good idea, especially if you decide on thumbscrews with plastic heads.

any hardware store will have them bring your tv manual with you it will tell you the spec on the screw to connect to the 4 pre existing nuts on the back of the tv as far as from the mount to wall it will be a standard lag bolt small enough to fit threw the hole and long enough to go threw the drywall and about an inch and a half of the studd 2" to 2 1/2" inch lag bolt will work

The size is #8-40 X 3/4". This is a specialty screw, so you're screwed

No Solution as its known as a Bad Pixel... Manufacturers allow a certain ammt per unit before rejecting the unit. (I'd take it back also)..
