Thanks for the numbers.
The 628 in the model# tells us it was built by Frigidaire. The date code in the serial number is less clear because it is a different code than their current serial number designations that have been in use since the mid '80's. The style of the stove makes me think late '70's, I would guess '77 or '78 from the first 3 digits of the serial number.
The thermostat should be easy to check. If the broil function in the large oven works, the thermostat should be ok. It is a simple switch that should read closed across the contacts when you turn it to any temp setting when the oven is cool.
The power for the oven will also go through the selector switch which routes the power to different components depending on the setting.
The power also goes through switches in the clock that allow the timed bake and self clean functions to work.
If there is no wiring diagram in the stove, you will probably need one to diagnose the problem if the thermostat checks ok. I would suggest getting one while it is still available in case you need it in the future.
Once you have found out exactly which part you need, you should be able to use the Frigidaire part number from the parts list on the Sears site to track down a replacement part through a local appliance parts dealer. You may have to take the part to them to try to visually match up a replacement. Thermostats and selector switches are usually pretty generic in their operation between manufacturers, the problem lies in finding one that will mount to your control panel properly and that your knob will fit so that you can keep the same uniform look along your control panel.
Please post back with what you find out or if you have any questions.
Thanks/Mike
SOURCE: Oven heat
There is a bottom hidden element that is the main element used for baking and cleaning. If its not heating then the element has gone bad and needs replacing. If you have a volt meter then you can confirm this by checking the voltage between the two terminals sticking out of the rear of the range. There should be 240vac across the two. If you have that then you need a new element if you don't then you need a new control board.
SOURCE: The inner right front element
inner element burned out. Either burner needs replacing or control switch is bad. Take out burner and see if coil has a break in it. IF not, then switch is bad. I cannot see your repyl due to some tech issue w/ the site, so it may be a day or so before I can reply again. Please leave feedback for me if appropriate. Thanks

Hi
Error
code SD/5d means LONG DRAIN. This error appears when the drain time exceeds 8
minutes and the water valves turn off. After 4 minutes the "Sd" error
will be displayed, and then 4 minutes later the F21 error code will be
displayed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL two times to clear the display. Please Check the
drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked. If the drain hose if fine
then unplug the washer and check the electrical connections at the pump and
make sure the pump is running. Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
To access the drain pump and filter remove the front kick panel and trace the
drain hose to the bottom of the washer, drain pump would be located there. If
you are not able to access it, then replace the back panel as well. Plug in
washer or reconnect power. If the issue is still not resolved then you would
need to replace the drain pump. Hope this helps...please post
back for further assistance.
