My heater sometimes fails to fire up.When i does work, at the end of the night when i switch it off from the control, the fan tries to come on by itself and makes a loud banging noise. Replaced the thermostat but that didnt work. Im assuming that its a problem with the motherboard. If so does anyone know here i can get one from. There is a red LED light on the motherboard that keeps flashing, but without error codes i dont know what that means.
Thanks
If you can tell me the type and model number of the board and where you live i can probably tell you where to get one. Get the aftermarket board boaard for sure----they are generally speaking better boards and about 20% the cost of the OEM board. the red light might just be indicating reset is needed.

Thanks boomanfoo for you reply. i will get the numbers that you spoke about and i will post them tomorrow. I live in Craigieburn, Vic.
As for the LED light. the unit itself doesnt have a reset button as such. to reset the unit i need to turn it on and off from the thermostat, which i have done several times but it still flashes..
Thanks again
