Powerplug in the electronic box has disintegrated. I want to replace it. The electronic box has an RCA logo on it. I haven't been able to find the model no. Do you know where to look on the oven? Will any 3 prong that accepts the wire be ok?

You could call whirlpool and they can email you the instructions. Or your can go on whirlpool.com and enter your model number under the upper customer support tab.
SOURCE: We had a power outage
Turn the breaker off for 5 minutes. this will reset the system. If you still have no power then it spiked your control board and it's the board that is fried.

the humming sound is coming from the "squirrel cage" fan in the back of the unit, there may be some resonance vibration from the fan this issue should be addressed by a qualified service tech, the whole wall oven needs to be pulled out, i would have him check the fan.

yes, or the oven control itself, make sure also to closely inspect the element itself for any "HOT-SPOTS" where its getting a high resistance area and not passing all the current needed to heat the element
