I have a Kenmore 70 series washer Model 110-20722990. I am trying to find out what kind of tub is in it (plastic or steel) and the capacity. I don't see this info on the washer anywhere. Thanks!

What is the date of manufacturing based on the serial number of my Kenmore 70 series washer?

Tyler,
It came off of the Clyde, OH production line the 26'th week of 2001.

Amazing, ain't it? Seriously... the info is embedded in the serial number. Here's the link to the code sheet.
