Sounds like its blocked with fluff somewhere and your element could be wet take off the back and check your element and if water around it you need to compleatly clean out your filters and down where the condenser is then leave it for a day or two to compleatly dry the element

SOURCE: when attempting to start any

this is possibly due to water in the wrong place and being thrown by the fan onto the element.
take the rear cover off, drain the water (won't be much) and dry area with paper towels.
take out the condensor and clean it while you are about it.
feel round at the back and youb will find a small hole for the condensate to flow away and this hole may be blocked. poke something down it to clear

SOURCE: hotpoint tcl770 condencer tumble dryer, just out

internal problem, either heater coil or sensor or motor, you will need to get it checked, but don't plug it in again, as short circuits on high current machines can be dangerous.

Hotpoint WDM 73 keeps tripping ringmain when powered on

I suspect that the problem is probably being caused by a fault on the dryer element or thermostat.
Remove the top cover and disconnect the heater, and see what happens..
If it does not trip, then prob is the dryer element or stat.
Hope this helps.

As soon as you do a spin program at more than 800 it trips the switches in the main fuse box

Sounds like a motor prob to me, unplug motor and try on spin cycle without motor, if it does not trip, then the motor is faulty..
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Tumble dryer when switched on cuts power to all sockets in house

Hi.
Try it with the heater disconnected, you will find it at the rear of the m/c at the bottom left behind a removable panel.
You may have to remove the top cover and the right hand side panel looking at the m/c from the front. Try it again.
I fit does not trip. then your heater is faulty.
If it still trips then you are probably going to have to call en engineer

HOTPOINT WD71 ERROR E 30

Hello john walker24
Welcome

You said, you have a Hotpoint Ultima 1200 Washier dryer model WD71s and keep getting an E30 error code after it fills with water.
Any idea what the problem is?

This is what Hotpoint tells us!
E30 = A motor drive problem has occurred.Try running the programme again.
If the problem persists call for a Service Engineer.

BUT, I will tell you to unplug the appliance for 5 minutes and see if this resets the system and solves the error code.
Sometimes it is only a glitch and you can reboot and be alright if there is really no mechanical failure!!
Let me know how it goes?
Huuum,
Please remember to leave a rating!
Thank You.
Waiting for your response!

Hotpoint ultima tumble dryer error code f-03

i have a hotpoint ultima ctd80 which i have had the last 2 years, it has shown error codes f11, f10 and f15, every time i fix this problem by first switching off and unplugging appliance then removing small cover from back (middle with 2 screws) then larger panel that the smaller panel overlapped. once you remove these you will see the heating elements, remove the 2 screws at the back off this, remove cover carefully then at the top you will see two things (not very technical lol i am a woman), with a pin press the pin in the one with a hole, mine makes a clicking sound when i do it, not sure if it meant to but works for me. put all parts back together and thats the job done. make sure both fillters and water emptied regular, hope this helps and saves you a fortune on call outs

No heat on tumble dry programme. Display flashed F 13.

You need to replace the heating element for the dryer which is positioned on top of the outer drum. Remove the top cover of the machine and locate the heater.
