How do i fix an invalid path or filename error when saving

I answered this once, but it didn't seem to post. Invalid Path or Filename error is generated when a logo (.bmp) file is specified in the header or footer, but is not found in the default folder "Clipart," usually found under SureTrak in Program Files or Program Files(x86). Either set the logo in the footer to None, or copy and paste the missing .bmp file to the Clipart folder, then in the Footer (Page Setup, third tab) re-browse the logo setting to the correct location.

I am currently using both Print Shop 5.0 Premier and Print Shop 10. I am switching to a new computer with Windows 7 and will need to install Print Shop 23 Deluxe. Will I be able to retrieve all the files...

I will advice you to locate the print-shop folders that are on your computer. or simple open one of the files you created with this software and right click file location. it will open where all the other files are stored on your computer. backup everything stored on your computer to a flash drive.
Let me know if this solution helps.

Output a ghosterr.txt message when I use the Restore CD's

You can change the default abort file (ghosterror.txt) location and name by specifying the switch -afile=filename where filename contains the path and name of the error file you wish to create.

Example: ghost -afile=c:\errorfile.txt

Please try this switch and post your error file if you are successful.

Printing problems

Had a similar problem with printing from a file saved on a network drive. Apparently the file name was too long. Moving a copy of the file to the local drive (such as a folder on the desktop) allowed printing. I believe I am also functioning without the Suretrak 3.0a or 3.0b software patches which may correct the problem (see Primavera's website for patch b). Since it is only on certain files, I would think it is due to too long of a path to the filename.
