Need a seat and bracket?

You have to remove the seat bottom cushion first by pressing your knees against the seat and lifting up on it to disengage it from the frame brackets then there are bolts where the seat belt is that hold the top part once taken out you must lift upwards to disengage the top of the seat from those brackets and your in but you should check your fuses for the power trunk or run 12volts to the switch unless the lock is broken inside then doing what your about to is the best choice

Recumbent bike seats adjust forward and backward along a track, if the adjustment does not lock into place it could be that the pin is just not lining up with the seat adjustment bracket. Or that it needs replaced.

Now if you have an upright bike, there is a bracket right under the seat that hugs the seat post. You need to tighten the bolt on that bracket and it should fix the problem.

In some cases the thread on that bolt could be worn out, you will need to replace the bolt, buy a new seat bracket or just get yourself a new seat.

You can buy a 2008 Tahoe with bucket seats but I'm afraid I cannot find any information about switching out the seats. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

to get at the bolt heads

Then the nuts are welded into the steel floor pan

As you said,silver braze,braze or tig weld what is broken

Stay away from a dealer after the warrantee runs out

Must disconnect the battery, in case the SRS System (air bag)
is involved under the seat & leave it off until your all back together
& all wires are reconnected

you will have to replace the complete assy. the cheapest way is look for a complete wrecking yard seat, or have yours welded at a local machine shop

track its self bolts on after u take the seat out turn it upside town and un bolt the track u can pick them up at any junk yard or salvage yard

door handle broke at plastic insert. Looking for replacement parts.

i can get you the part numbers 2 moro no probs , im taking it that you have a ultra? electra glide or simaler and you mean the brackets either side of the stereo that hold the inner the inner fairing ,what year and what market i.e uk/us ? id pop down the local hardware store and buy a bit of metal and rivit it to the original ones to stregnthen them as they snap off for a past time i have done this several times and never had a broken one yet .

You can buy the brackets or seat frame seperatly.
The thing is that you have to take the seat out and disassemble the whole thing to replace the bracket.
