Question jensen vm 9512 put in pat code still getting cannot wash wille driving

try contacting audiovox (audiovox.com)? they own jensen now.

It's not safe to wire at the cigarette lighter you must hook it up to the handbrake but after you connect it there is a few steps to program the screen before. You can find it how to in your installation manual.

you must have the the remote to do this,




1) Insert the DVD and you'll get the blue screen.

(If you have more than one tv,the unit itself will have the blue screen but the additional tv's youhave plugged in will NOT, they will show the dvd menu. Thus you will beable to see the hidden menu on the additional screens after inputtingthe code, but not on the main unit because of its blue screen.)

2) On the main remote, push stop twice and then 1, 2, 6, 4

3) Push the joystick on the unit SOUTH twice and then click it once.

4) Press SYS SETUP on the main remote twice to save your settings.


Itmay take a few tries but you'll get it.

There is no 'loud' feature on the Jensen VM 9512.

If your talking about the 3 letters 'LOC' that you can see when you are in radio mode, they do not stand for 'loud'. This is a common mistake.

'LOC' stands for 'local'... not 'loud'.

I know this because I own a Jensen VM 9512, and I have actually read the book that came with it.

There is no loud feature on a Jensen VM 9512

u have to go on the tools menu,select the language than take the remote controle and type 543210
u will see the secret menu when u can override e-brake :))

if you want to play dvds well you drive you just need to put parking brake wire (pink) to ground no code needed

goto the set up menu, tap the language tab, ON THE REMOTE push "stop, stop, 5,4,3,2,1" and the secret menu will pop up

yes go to the setup u should find it under general, it should say auto open
