As this is a discontinued product, I would suggest you contact the manufacturer directly using the link I've included. Most, if not all transducers are made by Airmar so I expect you'll get some joy.

From the owners manual (page 78, link below) NMEA out (+) is the white wire and NMEA (-) or ground is the black wire.

Probably the data didn't go past 2010. I have a Northstar 951XD, and first time out this year, no more tide track data - my manual says it only went fron 1994 - 2010. So how to get updates?

Can you reverse the cable end to the hand controller-- a bad cable can cause this. Also low power supply, depleted batteries can also cause this.

Return the hand controller for replacement if batteries and or a new cable do not fix this.

I may have one, as my screen is dead, like MANY others!

If you can delate all you log, waypoint routs or make a masterreset.
With a masterreset you will lose all data below
