You need to rebuild the carb. The kits are cheap. Less than $10 for most. If that does not work possible carb replacement needed. Sometimes these carbs get clogged an cant be opened because orifice are to clogged. Carbs are not expensive. For $20- $25 it can be fixed.
it sounds like the choke isn't closing on the carburetor when the engine is cold ( more gas, less air). normally step on gas pedal once to close choke before starting. need to find someone familiar with carburetors to help as it can be technical setting it up
try to open the air filter and pour a little bit of petrol inside carb, bottle cap size... if its runs, then your carb need to service, the car might not starts for quite sometimes i guess.
this sounds like a bad fuelpump, try spraying starting fluid in throtle instead of pouring gas, when you pour gas it may not enter all cylinders it may just sit in intake galley. try the starting fluid.also have someone crank the engine while you beat on bottom of gas tank with a rubber hammer, this sometimes shakes fuelpump and make a contact to get pump going again.
carb is gummed up from the old fuel turning to varnish and clogging the jets. while trying to start, its trying to inject fuel, but its clogged and taking the path of least resistance (coming out the air filter).
you'll need to drain the gas tank and remove the carb to clean it out. if unfamiliar or uncomfortable doing this, then take it to someone to do a carb cleaning.
Wait... fuel is pouring out of the crankcase breather? Are you sure it's not the carb overflow tube? The crankcase breather should be going back into your airbox or through some kind of filter.
If gas is coming out of there DO NOT START YOUR BIKE. It means that gas has gone from the tank through the carbs into the cylinder and is now in your oil. Thinned out oil is the devil for bikes.
Sounds like you'll need to clean the carbs and set the float bowl height and maybe rebuild the petcock. Check to see if any fuel is coming out when the petcock is turned off. If it only has on pri and reserve then check for gas in the vaccum tube.,,
