The power stand by light is on when i push the power button it stays red, the after a while of pushing the button it turnes green but all i get is a blue screen

YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE INPUT OF YOUR TELEVISION SET TO THE CORRECT SOURCE. FOR EXAMPLE: HDMI1, AUDIO VIDEO IN, YPBR INPUT ETC, YOU CAN DO THIS BY THE USE OF YOUR TV REMOTE.

DVD 6655, audio plays, but no video showing, nothing shows, when pushing menu, program, cords all plugged in, DVD clean, tv correct setting, cords good, only played one movie since new

Hi tappetanders,

There are usually two AV modes in the TV which allow you to select the source , therefore , you need to select the correct one, usually there is a button names as AV or similar which allows you to select the video input source, once you select this source properly then you should be able to see the video.

Hope this helps ...:) Let me know in case you have any further queries.

I just bought a Samsun Series 4+ / 440 / 450 (on the users manual lol) but when i try to hook up my DTV or PS3 using an AV cable, nothing shows up. In the Sources, it shows "AV" but when i select...

is that the av channel? if so, how do you know your getting a signal from the ps3? try hooking the ps3 up to something else to make sure you have a signal coming out of that cable (this is where you have to start) if you have another device like a DVD player, or VCR, hook that up to the AV input (or channel one as you say). if you get a picture from those devices, the problem is your ps3 not sending the signals to the tv. sorry I can't be more helpful, but that's my guess

We have a ypbr cable with 5 plugs colored green, blue and red and two for audio which are red and white. The ports where to connect the ypbr plugs does not produce a picture but if the green plug is plugged...

That plug is made to connect into an HDTV input..

You wont be able to get normal video no matter which plug you put in.

I suggest getting a normal AV cable, or else using the one you have on the hdtv inputs.

Tv want show

Look at the back of your TV.  Make sure your cable is hooked up to connector on far right, NOT the far left. (For analog cable TV.)

Push "source" button on remote or side of TV to cycle through TV inputs.  Wait one second between pushes.  You want to stop just before the source that displays "AV" on TV screen.  It should show a number, for the current channel number.

If you are using an analog cable box, try setting the TV channel to 3 or 4.  If you use no cable box, try changing channels on TV to find an active one.  If no luck, make sure your cable service is active (subscription active).  Cable companies disconnect it between residents of an apartment/house.
