Ring doesnt keep air - Intex Easy Set Pool 15x36

blow by is cause primarly from worn rings and worn bores. The fix is to bore out the cylinders and fit over size rings. The major reason for blow by is a faulty air filter system that allows the engine to be "dusted" in use.

If you have air blowing out of the oil filler cap, I would suspect that the piston rings are shot. The piston rings are supposed to keep the compressed air above the piston, and air seems to be leaking past the piston rings into the crank case.

That would be a bearing failure.

Sounds like o-rings. Have you tried replacing the o-rings?

nope.depending where it dripping from.if its from a metal air con hose joint then its a $2 o ring seal and some re gassingif its from the compressor then it could also be leaking compressor oil, and if it has been running with no oil then it could be rooted mate.if its leaking from behind the dash then it could be a little tricky.
take it to a recommended auto mechanic with an air con license and he will ascertain the location of the leak.
$800 is what you would expect to pay to install air con to a car that hasn't got it already

I had the same problem with 1999 E300 TD 6-cylinder in-line engine.
The problem was the o-ring on the pre-filter. Make sure all o-rings are tight and try putting small amount of silicone grease when installing them.

I have the same problem, brand new impact wrench, brand new impact sockets, but can't get a socket onto the gun. Leaned on it with all my weight, wiggled, nothing. and yes they are both 1/2" drive. WTH?

you need an o-ring repair kit. the part number will be located in your owner's manual. a blown upper o-ring is usually due to leaving it out in the weather for extended periods of time or hooking it up to a compressor with a psi regulator set over 120.
