• If both the STA and AP support channel change notification, the AP sends an action frame (802.11h) to the STA after the AP switches to a channel. The action frame is used to notify the STA of switching the channel immediately or after n Beacon intervals. The STA then switches the channel and retains online.
• If the AP supports channel change notification but the STA does not support channel change notification, the AP sends an action frame to the STA, notifying the STA of switching the channel immediately or after n Beacon intervals. The STA does not process the action frame, and goes offline after the AP switches to the channel.
• If the AP and STA do not support channel change notification, the AP switches to a channel and the STA goes offline.

DONT USE the remote that came with your TV

use the buttons on the box to change the channel. did the channel change?

usually when someone only has one channel its because they are changing the tv channel not the cable box channel

think of it like this:
the TV is a monitor and should always be on the same channel (3, 4, hdmi, or whatever) its actually the box that tunes and the tv always stays on the same channel.

so if you change the tv channel you are no longer watching the output of the cable box.

USE the remote supplied by your cable provider

1 Press POWER to turn the power off.
2 Press TV/VCR, current VCR Output Channel will appear on the LCD display.
3 Each time TV/VCR is pressed for 2 seconds, the LCD display changes as follow

clock press tv/vcr RF3 2 secondes later RF4.

• VCR Output Channel is automatically set during EZ Set Up.
1. If Channel 3 (or 4) is an active broadcast channel in your area, the Channel 4 (or 3) will be set.
2. If both channel are the active channel or none active channel, the VCR Output Channel will be set to Channel 3.
• Cancelled the EZ Set Up by pressing POWER during EZ Set Up before setting the Output Channel.
• VCR Output Channel will not change to previous VCR Output Channel if TV/VCR is pressed continuosly for more than 2
seconds.

AVEIS LT15AP3; WHEN CHANGING THE CHANNEL BY LAST CHANNEL OR BY PUTTING IN ACTUAL CHANNEL , IT DOES NOT CHANGE TO CHANNEL I PUNCHED IN BUT TO CABLE CHANNEL 3. IF I TURN TV OFF AND HAVE THE CHANNEL I WANT ON, IT COMES ON THAT CHANNEL. THEN IF I CHANGE CHANNEL IT GOES BACK TO CHANNEL 3. HELP????

Auto channel search is your friend. Once the tv has been through it and finds active channels, your channel button should work the way you envision.

Try getting a universal remote and use that to change the channel.

some remotes used to have a key to switch between single or double digits marked ( -/--)

If you changed the RF out channel setting on the DTV converter and now can't see the output of the converter try changing the channel on the TV set. THe DTV converter boxes are designed to output either RF channel 3 or RF channel 4. If you were on channel 3 and changed the converter output to channel 4, you will have to change the TV channel to channel 4 to see it again.
