We have had our NewAir ACP-1600H air conditioner 2 yrs ago and it has functioned fine. Now it is only blowing slightly cool air instead of the colder air it once did. The filters are clean, the water tank is empty, the intake and outflow vents are not obstructed and the room is warmer than the temp setting. What am I missing here and who can I call if we can't figure this out? Thanks for your help.

Hi, No, a byproduct of cooling the air is condensation....or dehumidification... so in short.. if you want to cool the air you will also dehumidify it...
Its sounds like a refrigerant leak from the factory if you just got it. Check your warranty and call the manufacturer for repairs. Unfortunately there is no simple fix.
The longer hose will increase the heat in the room and that is why they recommend the short hose…addition to that it may overheat…if you are going to extend the hose you must use one as the dryer hose that insulated and fire proof…let me know if that help
