It would be helpful to know tha make and model. Different manufacturers use the same code for different things. Can't tell from the picture (It looks a bit ike a Whirlpool)

try to look f16 error to your manual of SA-HT440 what is it mains by the said error, and go what errors manuals advice.

An abnormal shift lever signal was detected.

The "F16" on a Bosch indicates the door is open / unlocked. If it's happening during a wash it would suggest either a faulty door lock, faulty wiring or worse, a faulty main control board.

The wash programme should halt when this comes up but you should be able to restart it when the door is closed.

As the cost of a new door interlock isn't overly expensive I would suggest fitting a new lock on a "fit and see what happens" basis.

your main processing board is having an communitcation error. if you have taking the kickplate off the tech sheets or on the right or let hand wall and will tell you how to enter the diagnostic phases

Check your lens aperture ring setting. It must be set on the highest number I.E. f16,f22,f32..
