Please call Kenwood to ask about the language update information or manual for your device. They should be able to email the manual to you. There phone number is 1-800-536-9663. Thank you.

learn to google and youtube.
learn that non japan exports of NAV box do not have language sets.
yes there are 3 kinds, Universal, japan only or some other language only models.
if the button seen hit above is missing that means Japan only model.
Unfortunately, the language is set in the firmware and cannot be changed. So, to change the language requires that the unit itself be replaced. I wish I had better news for you but that's is the way these systems are distributed.
if the language menu is missing there.
There are very few Kenwood Units that have the ability to change Language, and I do not see the MDV-727DT as being one of them.
first off it is NOT A CAMERA. IT A CAR KenwoodMDV-X701W navigation -SYSTEM.
ask the maker, these NAVS are sold all over the world and they are not the same.
some are sold to only 1 country in 1 language
others are sold in universal. class in many languages even 21 choices
if it is a Universal, the setting would list it, so my guess is , not in my hands it is not.
so ask them maker, most will ask you the NAV SERIAL NUMBER
AND THEN LOOK IT UP AT KENWOOD, AND TELL YOU.
The you ask for , firmware update to your unstated language from Japanese.
ask them
