    Hi I have problem with my canon Ir 2020 after 3 or 4 copy it shows Error E007 .. and some times when i turn on the copier it shows this error .

    it is a problem of fixer fuser unit, change it or check a fixer sensor

Your problem possibly is a damaged fixing film,check the counter ,if it´s over 150k the side of the fixing film over the movement sensor is damaged.exchange needed

Friend, check the printer cable if properly connected because such message is the effect of cable malfunctioning. or try to re install your printer driver to be sure that the software is good.

Hi

you need to reinstal the firmware on your machine, And for the E007 check if the new film is rotating in the same speed as the presure roller, check if you mounted the film sensor corectly, and if the sensor is reading the corect end of the film ( it schould be the one whit a white square on it).

E007 - Fixing film rotation error

You have to disassemble fuser unit and inspect a fixing film, if damaged - replace.

The official documentation says:
E007 0000 Fixing film sensor failure
The fixing film sensor is faulty. - Check the connector of the fixing film
sensor.
- Replace the fixing film sensor.
- Replace the DC controller PCB.

Error E007 Canon Image runner 2020 Will not finish perinting a document with the above mentioned error
The error code E007 is a fixing film error code > it will have to be replaced to clear the code. That is if it a IR-2020, a IR-8500 does not have a fixing film.
