On 26/10/2007, i have bought a windows mobile i-mate TM-JAMA from the Karachi, Pakistan. S/N:CN9780707002488;P/N:TH978BABF. Since that time i was so happy to enjoy using this device without any problem, until today where i tries to use activesyn and installed one software and I was asked for soft reset. I switched off the device and once i switched on the device, the normal starting blue page was there but then the device couldn't continue to start up(It's green page usually), it is showing a blank white screen. I have tried removing the sim and battery and nothing is happening.
I dont know how to do Hard Reset I must draw your Attention into 1 point, the device has at all no any problem before facing this one. It was running so good and fine until the problem came.
Make a hard reset to your I-mate jama
Remove the battery, Simultaneously hold volume(-) button and red hangup
button, while still holding those keys, insert the battery and wait for
the led to go out, release keys and device will hard reset.
Start->Settings->System tab->Master Clear->1234->ok

Only solution u should go in safe mode.:::HOW???
Restart ----blue screen/or wait if u get green---push restar again with in minut. It will go in safe mode.
after safe mode start u can use it, master rest, or if having any good back up can use that. I used sprite backup & found it good.
n good days copy **pim.vol** file of mydevice on on ur memory card and after any hard reset rename orignalone 7 delete then past ur saved one rest(soft) ur addresses & calender entries will there.

Hi I bought a Imate JAMA since then I have nothing but problems while using the phone it gave me a message that the battery is low and went off I took the charger and tried to charge it. It started and the blue screen was on after that nothing happened the moment I remove the charger the screen goes off and when its kept for charging it starts with the blue screen and nothing happens after that infact the light does not go of.

Hi I am unable to delete files from the data card which I have in my phone.
When I delete the files it gives me a prompt
: cannot delete the file accessd enied.
Either the file is currently in use or the card is protected

Mobile had fell down and got switched off. When I restart, initial the
screen goes to setup mobile and then it goes screen aligning page.
After that nothing hppens and remains at screen align page.

I work with imate jama. it worked perfectly for few days after i bought it.
