Defaults to first preset

I will be playing on say " metal " preset for about 15 minutes then it automatically switches to the first preset. It does this on 3 of the 4 presets

How do I fix channels with no sound

Mute Switch/Mute-Clip LED :

This switch mutes all Aux, Group and L/R sends from the corresponding channel.
This switch is equipped with a red LED that will illuminate when the channel is muted.
When the MUTE button is out,the LED functions as a Clip indicator that will illuminate at 2 dB below clipping.
Muting the channel does not prevent the PFL signal from being sent to the PFL/AFL mix when the PFL Switch (12) is in.
This switch mutes its respective Group send from the Group channel.

CAUTION:
Restoring the factory settings option resets your mixer's presets, reformatting factory presets and erasing all other user presets. (This option is handy when your venue has permanently changed and all-new presets are required.)
Once confirmed, the presets are not retrievable and will be permanently lost.
Should you select this option in error, a warning screen allows you to cancel the procedure.

How to factory reset mpd18

Heres how to restore your MPD24 factory defaults using the Vyzex software:

1. Plug in your MPD24 with USB cable, and then open the Vyzex software.

2. Click File > Open

3. Select Factory SET.SQS, and click open it.

4. You should now see BFD Lite and other details on the Vyzex MPD image.

5. As long as you're on the DATA tab, you should see a PUT SET button available. Press it to transfer the factory presets to your MPD24.

6. An overwrite warning will be displayed. Press YES to overwrite your damaged MPD24 presets with the factory presets.

You'll see a progress bar filling up for about 10 seconds, and then once it disappears, that's it!

You're all done - Enjoy!

Ok, i love the tones on this amp, but for some reason, i start to play, not even on at a high volume, just like at a nice level, ill play it for like 5-8 mins and it will shut off, like the power is still...

This is a tiny amp good for practice at low volume levels. You are likely overdriving it and the power amp chip goes into thermal protect. If you volume level is much louder than a small boom box, you are driving it too hard. Best to get a bigger amp.

Likely a failure of one of the amps and now more... You should have shut it down when it started making noises. This is NOT a DIY repair. Take it to a competent repair shop for service.

Check for degradation of C144 a 2200mfd/16volt cap.

This is power source for the 5 volt digital hardware. Check for excess ripple with a scope. The voltage should NOT go below 8 volts. If the voltage dips, the DSP will go nut-case.

A possible problem MIGHT be marginal switch contacts on the external foot controller cable. If you are not using the foot pedal, these contacts must maintain contact to keep the same channel selected.

I am guessing that you are trying to replace the presets the amp comes with, with your own. In which case all you do is dial in the sound you want and then hold either the clean,crunch,metal, or insane buttons until you see the light flash. Usually hold it for about four seconds.
