Direction indicator on display moves occasionally, but wind speed always show zero(s), even though I can see the vane moving and the wind cup spinning. Tried reseating the RJ connector to the transmitter on both ends, but no change. Temp, date/time, humidity all normal. Barometer seems to work, but can't tell about the rain gauge since it hasn't rained. Wind sensor looks like the big problem.

I assume you have an ST-50 or ST60 windvane setup. These are the calibration instructions from the unit manual for the ST-50. They are the same for the ST-60 and ST-60+ units.
Hope it helps you.
Initial Calibration Windvane Alignment
Before the unit is used for navigational purposes the masthead transducer must be accurately aligned to the vessel. Before this procedure is carried out the windvane should be linearised as follows.
1 . Powerup lhe ST50 Plus Wind instrument.
2. Tum the vessel through two complete circles, making sure that the windvane remains in line with the wind -the instrument will automatically linearise the windvane.
Alignment
1. Press and hold CAL for 2 seconds until CO is displayed by the LCD.
2. Press < > to move the pointer to the correct wind angle.- WIND
- Press < > once to move the pointer by 1 degree.
- Press < > for 1 second to move the pointer by 10 degrees/second.
The LCD will now display the applied correction.
3. Press and hold CAL for 2 seconds to exit and store windvane alignment.
Windspeed Unit Selection
1 . Press and hold CAL until Ul (Knots) or U2 (Meters/second is displayed.
2. Press CALwithin 8 seconds to change the windspeed units selection.
3. After 8 seconds the wind instrument returns to normal operation.
Error
code LE indicates that either the motor is not turning or has locked up for
some reason. It can also be due to Hall sensor which monitors direction and
speed of the motor. If the sensor is faulty then also this error appears. Motor
lock can be caused by several things from a loose connector, to a bad motor. To
make sure it's not a locked motor, try turning the drum with your hand. And, if
there is any resistance while turning the drum or the drum doesn't move freely
then the motor is locked and you'll need to get it replaced. If the motor seems
to be fine then you would need to replace the Hall Sensor. To replace the hall
sensor, take the back cover off. Take the big nut off and remove the motor
rotor. Remove the bolts holding the motor windings. Remove the electric plug on
the sensor and unclip it from the motor winding. Hope this
helps...please post back for further assistance.

Well, it IS wireless so it need ssome good juice and line of site from the sensor to the receiver to work.
Take the unit off the handlbar mount and hold it close to the transmitter while you move the wheel magnet past the sensor.
If it starts to work begin moving the computer farther away toward your handlebar mount and figure out where it dies and why. Some units have distance specs that must be adhered to.

Error 22 indicates that the drive motor (running belt) has been instructed to start, by either
manual or program control, and the monitoring system has not received any response from the
speed sensing system indicating that the drive motor has started
Possible Causes
1. The treadmill utilizes an optical (infrared) speed sensor and the line of sight between the
speed sensor and the speed sensor target is obstructed.
2. Drive motor brushes are bad.
3. The speed sensor position relative to the speed sensor target is incorrect.
4. The speed sensor potentiometer adjustment is incorrect (when equipped).
5. The speed sensor is inoperative.
6. The lower PCA is bad.
7. The lower PCA to upper PCA interconnect cable is bad.
8. The upper PCA is bad
Error 45 :The lift control system has detected that the lift is moving in the opposite direction of the issued
Possible Causes
1. Lift Motor hysteresis.
2. Bad lower PCA
Possible Remedies
1. This error would typically happen when the lift was already in motion (typically downward)
when a lift command in the opposite direction (lift up) was issued. Some motors exhibited a
very long turn around time and the lift motor would still be moving in the original direction
(downward) while the control system was attempting to move the lift in the opposite direction.
If the error 45 condition is persistent, replace the lift motor.
2. This is a very rare condition, if the lift moves in the opposite direction of the issued lift
command, replace the lower PCA
lift command.
You might want to double check that all of the spade connectors that are used to plug the wind transducer into the ST60 wind display are firmly plugged onto the display's terminals.
Because of the blind connection, sometimes the terminal ends up lodged between the red insulator and the spade, rather than within the spade connector itself. This results in intermittent or missing readings from one part of the sensor or more.
Also make sure the display is in Master mode. You will need to get into its setup mode to confirm this. The other possible mode is repeater, which would be used if this were a secondary readout.
