If they are alrady on te same router / WiFi, make a drive or folder 'shared' and then on the other use 'Map network drive'

If not, then just use any old Ethernet cable to link them (both PC's should be happy enough to set a default IP addresses and 'see' each other) - modern PC's don't need special 'switch over' cables (a 5m Ethernet cable from the £1 shop will work fine)

On the PC you want to 'expose' data, you 'Share' the folder (right click for the folder 'properties', look for 'security/sharing' etc).

On the other you 'map network drive' (if asked for a user name/log-in, use the account on the OTHER PC ..)

Instructions on model 343 - 8909N crib from JCP. How do I turn it into a toddler bed?

Did it come with an extra sideboard that connects the end sides together after you take one side off? The mattress spring or board should be sufficient to hold the end sides together but some come with a toddler bed side rail.

Moderm speed

Your question is garbled but I'll try to explain some of it.

Your ethernet LAN jack on your computer is probably 100mbps and the ethernet LAN jack on the modem is also 100mbps, connect them together and it will tell you that it is connected at 100mbps because they are both working at the same speed.

As for the other connections, you are mixing usb and ethernet up so much that I can not tell from what you are connecting together.

I need to know if I put it back together right

If you pulled it apart and put it back together but now it won't work properly, try checking your IDE cables to the hard drive/cd-rom, make sure they aren't connected backwards. Otherwise just carefully look over the entire board, be sure that the processor, heat sink and fan assembly are all intact and connected properly, do the same with the RAM, power connection, any expansion cards.

How to use cross cable and straight cables in network

ok, i think what you mean is this.  Crossover cable is for connecting 2 computers together without the need for a router.  also called pc-to-pc.  Straight cables need the use of a router or hub to connect 2 computers together.  Hope this helps, if not let me know more info.

Hi sir i have a problem that  how to share the individual internet connection on other pcs

To share the induvidual internet connection with other pc s you need the following:
1. The pc which owns the internet it need an ethernet connection too.
2. The other pc's which dont have internet connection it needs
ethernet connection too.
3. You need an equipment which connects the internet pc and
other pcs. It called Ethernet switch.

Linksys company has a good product, which can connect 4 pc together, called linksys Wrtg54gl. It not only a small switch
it also has the capability to connect wifi devices.
Buy this router connect the pc-s to thos router with ethernet switch. You need to set up ip addresses for the pc-s.
The whole procedure is well written in the Linksys admin manual.
I hope it helps.

Here is the router manual:
ftp://ftp.linksys.com/pdf/wrt54g_ug.pdf

If you dont need the wifi router (you dont need wireless connection buy this model:
Linksys BEFSR41

If you need to connect more than 4 pc it requires a new solution.
If all pc are connected with ethernet together, you need another solution.

If you has a problem with this write to the forum, i will respond you.

Lan cable Setting for Switch & PC to PC LAN Connection.

If you are asking about connecting two computers together with a hub or switch, plug them into the switch/hub with standard patch cables (cat 5e or cat 6).

If you are asking about connecting two computers together directly using a LAN cable, then you will need a "Crossover" cable (cat 5e) wired specially (oranges transposed at one end for the common -B pattern) for direct LAN connection.

Connect two computers together

Hi,

Technically, yes. Both computers should have an Ethernet port (LAN), a crossover networking cable, peer to peer networking using static IP add, and Internet Connection Sharing on the PC with the Wireless Internet Connection. If by chance the PC with the Internet access is already using its Ethernet port, a second NIC could be installed.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
