Can not start the machine

Sounds like something is jammed and overloading the machine. Check for locked motor.

1. The washing machine needs to be plugged in and in stand by mode with all indicators off.
2. Choose any one button on the washer's console except Power, Start, or Stop. Press/Hold 3 Seconds - Release 3 Seconds - Press/Hold 3 Seconds - Release 3 Seconds - Press/Hold 3 Seconds.
3. If the diagnostic test mode has been successfully entered, all of the indicator lights will glow for five seconds with 88 on the time display. (If it didn't work try #2 again One one thousand...Two one thousand...Three one thousand)
4. If there are any saved fault codes they will be displayed. If there are no save fault codes all indicator lights will turn off for a moment then back on with 88 displayed and the automatic diagnostic test mode will begin in five seconds.
5. If you are unable to enter the diagnostic test mode, press the power button and verify that the button you were trying to use operates properly to program the washer's cycle function. There may be something wrong with that function button. Find another button on the control that appears to work and try to enter the diagnostic mode with that button. You may also want to verify that the user interface has a good connection to the washing machine control board at the P11 terminal.

Try holding the start button for 5 -10 seconds (until it starts).

Hit the "Alt" and "Enter" keys at the same time while in the full screen window. This will change the full screen to a window.

Right click the blue bar at the top of the window. Choose "Properties." Click on the "Options" tab. Make sure the setting is on "Window" rather than "Full Screen."
Click "OK." When you are prompted with save options, choose "Save Properties for Future Windows with Same Title."
Change the properties for the general command prompt. Click the "Start" button. Click "Programs" and "Accessories." Right click the "Command Prompt" icon.

Navigate to "Properties." Choose the "Options" tab. Check the button next to "Window" instead of "Full Screen." Click "Apply," then "OK."

Use the mouse to right click on a DOS program's shortcut. Choose "Properties." Select "Options." Under "Display Options," select "Window." Click "Apply" and "OK."
Open the command prompt or your DOS shortcut. Right click on the blue bar. Click "Properties" and go to the "Layout" tab. Under "Window Size," use the arrows to increase the height and width of the window. Click "OK," click "Modify Shortcut That Started This Window" and click "OK."

When you turn your machine be sure you choose a program (such as basic bread, usually #1 on most machines) After you do that then push start. Have you chosen your program and it still doesn't work?

The Windows® Vista Program Compatibility Wizard can allow older programs that were not designed for use with Windows® Vista to run on Windows® Vista.

The Program Compatibility Wizard prompts you to test the program in different modes (environments) and with various settings. For example, if the program was originally designed to run on Windows® XP, set the compatibility mode to Windows® XP and try running the program again. If successful, the program will start in that mode each time. The wizard also allows the use of different settings, such as switching the display to 256 colors and the screen resolution to 640 x 480 pixels.

To run the Program Compatibility Wizard, complete the steps below:

1. Close all programs and windows and return to the desktop.
2. Click the Start button on the Windows® taskbar. The Start Menu will appear.
3. Click on Control Panel. The Control Panel window will appear.
4. Click on Programs. Additional program options will display.
5. In the Programs and Features section click the link Use An Older Program With This Version of Windows. The Program Compatibility Wizard will launch.
6. Click Next to Continue.
7. Click the “I want to choose from a list of programs” radio button and click Next. A list of programs will display.
8. Select the program that is to run in a Compatibility Mode and click Next to continue. A list of Compatibility Modes will display.
9. Click the radio button next to the desired Compatibility Mode and click Next. A list of display settings will display.
   
   NOTE: These display settings are not available options in Windows® Vista. They are only available when running a program in Program Compatibility Mode. The only reason to choose either of these settings is if you are experiencing difficulty installing or running an older application designed to run in Windows® 95, Windows® ME or Windows® 98. If all options remain unchecked, then the current Colors and Screen Resolution settings will not be altered.
   
   By default, Windows® Vista uses visual themes that may change the appearance or behavior of other programs, especially those games or educational programs that include intensive graphics and animation. To prevent the visual themes from affecting these programs, check Disable Visual Themes.
   
   
10. Choose the desired display settings and click Next to continue. Administrator privilege options will display.
11. Choose the desired administrator privilege setting and click Next to continue. A Test Your Compatibility Settings window will display.
12. Verify that the settings are correct. And click Next to continue.
    
    NOTE: If the settings are not correct, click the Back button to return to the previous screen (or screens) and make the necessary changes.
    
    
13. With the correct settings selected and showing in the "Test Your Compatibility Settings" window, click Next. The selected program will launch.
14. Run the program to test the settings.
15. After testing the settings, or close the program to return to the Program Compatibility Wizard.
    
    NOTE: After the program is closed, a window with the question "Did the program work correctly?" will appear. The "Yes. Set this program to always use these compatibility settings" will be selected.
    
    
16. If the program functioned properly using the compatibility mode that was selected above click Next. The Program Compatibility Data window will open.
    
    NOTE: If the program did not function correctly, click "No, try different compatibility settings" and complete the Wizard. After completing the wizard, try the program again.
    
    
17. Choose Yes or Now and click Next to continue. The Completing the Program Compatibility Wizard window will appear. Click Finish to close the window.
18. Launch and use the program.

1. Insert the installation CD in your computer's disk drive and allow the installation to automatically begin. If the install doesn't begin automatically, click on the "Start" button at the bottom left-hand corner of your PC and choose "Control Panel." Next choose "Add/Remove Programs." Next you will see the option to install from a CD or floppy.
   
2. Step 2 Choose the "CD or Floppy" option. Windows will locate the previously inserted CD and begin the installation. You will be asked to enter your end user license agreement. Enter your license number that is located on the box of the software you purchased. Click "Next."
   
3. Step 3 Choose the location you want to install the program. For example, the name of your local disk and the "Programs" folder will be displayed. If you do not want to install in this area, click "Browse" and go to the location on your PC you want to install the program. Once you have chosen the location, choose "Next."
   
4. Step 4 Click "Install" on the "Begin Installation" page and the installation process will begin. This process might take a few minutes to complete. Once the installation has completed, you will receive a message the installation has completed successfully. Click "OK," "Next," then "Finish."
   
5. Step 5 Verify the program has been installed successfully. Click on the "Start" button, then "Control Panel." The programs that are installed on your computer will be listed. Verify the PowerPoint 2003 program is listed.
   

Plug the unit in at the power outlet. If the display comes on, switch it off with the START/STOP button. After the display goes off, switch the unit on with the SELECT button. Remember that the START/STOP button is only used to start or stop a specific program.
