First make sure you have the correct USB drivers for your phone installed on your pc. Go to device manager and see if your phone or mass storage device is listed. If not, download the drivers here, http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads. Make sure debugging on your phone is enabled. Please refer to the following:
To set the Samsung Galaxy S2 to USB Mass Storage (MSC) mode, go into "Settings > Applications > Development" and enable "USB debugging".
Then drag the status bar down and tap on "USB connected".
The "USB connected" screen with the large green Android icon will appear. Tap on "Connect USB storage".
A confirmation dialog box will appear. Tap "OK". The green Android icon will turn orange, indicating that the phone is now in USB Mass Storage mode and should now appear as USB disk drives in "Devices with Removable Storage" and be assigned drive letters.

If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the cell phone and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device, you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.
Your PC is seeing your camera memory as USB mass storage and this is OK. Nothing is wrong with this. Follow the screens and you will see that the computer will see your camera as USB mass storage, and when you open the folder on your computer the camera pictures will be there.
Windows is set up to see cameras as USB mass storage devices for simplicity, so your computer can accept pictures from any camera that connects by USB without needing special software.
If this bothers you, most cameras are sold with their own special software that starts when the camera is connected. Check your users manual and follow the instructions for installing or downloading the software.
use the phone in mass storage device mode go to settings -> pc settings in your phone select MASS STORAGE DEVICE and save now connect the phone to PC it will appear as flash drive in my computer browse to it and transfer the photos.
if ur phone is attached as a mass stroge device.......then u can easily upload them by opening mass storage driver...........if it's not attached as mass storage then u need a PC-Suite for ur phone
Make sure the phone is set to mass storage device. you will see your phone once it is set to mass storage device in the my computer window as another hard drive. it should say removable disk in the my computer window. Just remember when you plug the phone in, make sure you set the phone to use as mass storage device.
The quickest way to do this is to put your phone into Mass Storage Mode then connect it via the USB cable to your computer. Your phone shows up as a USB Mass Storage Device and you can select the folders you want to download your pictures from.
To set your phone to Mass Storage Mode, do the following:
- Go to the main menu - Select Settings - Then Select Phone Settings - Choose PC Connections from the menu - And then click on Mass Storage.
When you connect the USB cable to your computer, your phone will show up as a USB Storage device and you can just copy and past files to it like you would a USB Thumb drive. If you select the Samsung PC Studio option...your file transfers will take ALL DAY. Just use Mass Storage mode. Good luck.

Your phone can upload and download files when connected to a PC running Windows 2000 and higher.Mac is not supported.
Open the flip and turn the phone on.
From the home screen, attach one end of the Motorola Original Enhanced USB cable to your phone and the other end to a USB port on your computer.
On your phone, press Yes to use the phone as a portable USB storage device.
On the PC, open the My Computer window and find where your phone displays as a MassStorage icon
Double click the MassStorageDevice icon.
Drag and drop files between your computer and phone
When finished, remove the phone safely from your computer. Right click the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon at the bottom of your computer screen, then select "USB Mass Storage Device" and click Stop.
Select USB Mass Storage Device and click OK.
Now it is safe to disconnect the cable. When the cable is disconnected, the phone restarts.
Note: When connected as a storage device the phone cannot perform regular phone activities. Disconnect to resume normal operation.
