I would like clear directions on how to replace
Jean,
unies you are very skilled in electronics repair, special for modern equipment, you can't fix it yourself. But you could visit ifixit dot com, where they have many free tutorials about repairs. There will be some videos about replacing LCD screens on cameras too. When you have seen one or two, you still can decide if you want to give it a go.

Thanks, Harrie. I did watch a few of those and got nervous. Will find someone to replace for me. Do you do this?
For what it will cost you in labor to have it replaced, it is cheaper to buy a new camera. Nowadays this type of camera is pretty cheap.
Jean, Although I think I could manage to replace it, I better not start this service. I don't mind offering my time in helping people here, I can't start a repair service for free. Knowing how difficult it can be to get the correct spare parts and what it will cost, in time and money, I even stopped repairing my own electronic equipment. Perhaps I'm even on the wrong continent for you, so to get the camera here and back with you could cost lots. Sorry I can't be of ore help for you.
You are too sweet! Thank you for writing back! Peace

I am the one who posted. It is not a Coolpix S210. My camera is a Coolpix P100.
