Bad Video Quality in Sorenson VP-200 to PolyCom ViewStationEx Calls and vice-versa

         I work at National Technical Institute of Deaf, RIT, NY. In our campus there are many Sorenson VP-200 and PolyCom ViewStationEx installed. I face issues in making calls from Polycom to Sorenson or vice-versa. I am able to make a call using the IP, however the call quality is really bad. There are lots of video jitters and the video hangs very frequently.

     I have tested it on both, local LAN (both Polycom and Sorenson within same subnet) and remote calls. The call qualities are really bad in both cases.

If connected to a Cisco Switch, make sure the EX is not set to Auto for Speed or Duplex.

Question edited for FULL 'make model (what it is)'.

"DATA ERROR CANCELING..." Output was stopped because a problem was found in the data received.
Operation cannot be continued. Check whether or not there is an error in the data. Check for a problem with the connector cable or the computer, and redo the operation from setting up the object to be printed on.Roland Technical Support.

you cant answer numerous calls on this system - you will need to set up a dial in number on a phone bridge provider and have all participants call into that number and then all of you will be in same conference call. this is best quality and the most managable way to do this. i am sure your phone provider can help you set this up. R if i remember correctly is for redial

Verify the uplink / download bandwidthon the broadband link.Broadband link do not have symmetrical upstream/downstream speeds. Perform test to verify.
Try non-peak hrs.
Check if latency is consistent.

national code is yellow green for turn and stop brown for tail white for ground. if national yellow and green backward.

Connecting VP calls to other devices

Evidently you are using the D-link service to receive calls. You will need to use the IP address of the VP100. D-link service is only compatible with D-link
