I have this oven for years and when it first was installed it would burn food and leave raw in the middle. I am now fed up. Can I fix this myself and adjust the thermostat without getting a repair man in?

If you could provide some more information, then I may be able to help. What part of the oven is causing the problem, i.e. top or bottom door. If the doors don't shut properly then this may cause the hot air to escape. If it is one of the doors, is it sitting square in the frame?

Press + and - at the same time (manual says hold for 3? seconds) and then + or - to set the time. If from power up, as I did yesterday, I don't think you need to hold them together for any length of time, but maybe it was my imagination, since I tried it first before I read the manual.
