Cold Tech gaskets can be obtained from Case Parts Co. 800-421-0217 or RHS Parts 800-537-8300, per jimex corps final technical spec. sheet. I hope this helps.

Freezer cools fine but will not shut off till I open door

Running all the time means you either have to clear/clean your condenser... Check for good tight door seals... and make sure the doors/vents are not blocked by any contents...

Free flowing cold dry air inside... sealed compartments is ideal.

Dollar Pull test:
Use the dollar bill pull test all round your doors...
(brown paper sack is cleaner & nicer):

You can take the paper...
close the door on it..
Pulling it out you should feel mild but constant pressure around the full perimeter of each door (or drawer).

If you do NOT feel it the door/drawer needs to be checked for gasket integrity... and the door may need to be adjusted.

New door gaskets are not terribly expensive
(but most issues are caused by spilled food, cleaning
or door adjustments = easy).

(FULLY covered in every owners manual I've read).

Consider purchasing 2 TAYLOR BRAND refrigerator
thermometer & turning the freezer to the ZERO Fahrenheit
area and the refrigerator to 33 or 34 degrees above zero
(32 degrees Fahrenheit... being frozen eggs & milk (too cold)).

Else... comment me back...

We can take this all the way into refrigerant level check if you find NOTHING ELSE WRONG

((HIGHLY IMPROBABLE... but do-able)).

You gasket is showing as no longer
available... at appliancepartspros.com...

So be gentle!!!

Check the wiring harness for the door cable. 2004, 05, and 06s had the same issues. Over time, the dorr may catch the cable in the track, giving a slight yank, or moisture gets into the harness fouling the conection.

Freezer not cold enough to keep food frozen. The door does not have a tight seal . It is a sidebyside , Jenn-Air model number JCD2289AEW.

The door magnet must be tightly seal, check the door gasket for some deformities. If there is, that really cause the freezer not to be cold enough. It would mean, the cold air is flow outside hence not penetrating the inside so the food and drink heat are not absorbed. You can adjust door gasket using screw driver.
Thanks for asking.

NEED PART NUMBER FOR COLDTECH DOOR GASKET MODEL J6SRF-61B

Coldtech were made by Jimex Corp, now Ascend Refrigeration if you use this link

http://ascendmfg.com/contactus.html

You should be able to find your local representative who should be able to help you.

Otherwise you can measure the center line of the door gasket width and length, there will be a company around which will make these up for you, but beware there are around 30 different magnetic gasket profiles available.

Hope this helps

Our fridge is making a beeping sound every 2 to 3 minutes. how do we get it to stop????? door seems to be tightly closed. just installed a new filter. freezer feels cold but the gage says its only 39*......

those have a high temp warning,, anytime the freezer or fridge goes above a set temp it will beep,,, make sure all or the doors are shutting good and the gasket is sealing,, if they are try to find any cold air coming out,, if all is good,, you need to get a service tech because it could be a bad fan, or a bad sensor

It looks like the snow is on some of the shelves and some ice on the wall of the freezer part of my side by side.

Sounds like you have adoor gasket problem. Check your door. Most of the time the cold will pull air thru any cracks in the door gasket causing frost on everything. May need service tech to replace gasket. Rusty
