Hi,

Interesting. Ensure that the monitor you are connecting to is powered on and that the power source is secured and working. Furthermore, check to see if the default monitor is recieving or recognising a connection

How do i get my hdmi to work on my westinghouse tv from my lap top

Turn on your laptop, then plug the HDMI cable into the laptop port and then then the TV HDMI port. It should duplicate your laptop screen. If not go into control panel on your laptop, display, detect display and you should now see 2 screen on the laptop panels, select duplicate or extend on screen 2. And you should be all set.

Lenovo 3000 n200 built in camera not working in windows 7

Instructions

1

Identify why you need an HDMI connection from your computer. Because the 2764 does not have an HDMI port, you will need to obtain some sort of adapter to connect to an HDMI device. There are a number of different ways to achieve that connection.
2

Purchase an external USB video card with an HDMI output. These devices have a number of benefits, including the ability to display a different image on the HDMI output than that which is being displayed on the screen. One example of these devices is the Sabrent USB-2011 which can display a 1080p HD signal over its HDMI connector. Other devices will also include support for audio and send it along the HDMI wire with the video signal.
3

Use a DVI-to-HDMI adapter if you have a Lenovo ThinkPad USB Port Replicator with Digital Video. This device takes the computer's existing video card and displays its signal over DVI. DVI-to-HDMI adapters are both affordable and easy to obtain.
4

Convert the computer's VGA output directly to HDMI. Because VGA is an analog signal and HDMI digital, doing this requires a special piece of hardware such as the StarTech VGA to HDMI converter with audio. Simple VGA to HDMI cables will not work, due to the lack of digital output from the T400's VGA port.

My motherboard and monitor have hdmi ports and a hdmi cable connecting them. When I sellect hdmi mode on the monitor, the screen goes black and then a message comes back saying no hdmi signal. Is there...

Hello, I'm not sure about the system or monitor that you're using, but usually for Windows systems, you have to change the display within the system before the screen will actually show on the monitor through something other than the standard display port. If you reply with your OS, then I might be of more help, but assuming you have Windows 7, you must plug the hdmi cord in, right-click on the desktop, and select Screen Resolution. Then select the option (likely "HDMI") under Display that you are currently not using. At this point, your current screen will most likely go black. Switch you monitor to hdmi mode, and then you should be able to use your monitor via HDMI. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, or simply comment.

My screen wont work i tried a hdmi cable but wouldnt work what do i do?

If you can get a display with the default setup (original cords) follow this procedure:

a) Plug in BOTH the HDMI cord and the other display cords to your TV.

b) On your TV, using the disignated video input (not HDMI) you should have the main screen

c) Go to settings, and then display settings. Set up your display to read HDMI. Your screen will go dark.

d) Quickly change your TV input from video to HDMI and it should still be displayed. Save the changes.

e) Shut off the system, unplug the original cords leaving in just your HDMI cord and your designated audio cord (preferably fiber-optic).

f) Turn it back on and you should be good to go.

Hdmi doesn't work

Make sure everything is pluged in correctly and the Playstation 3 is on stand-by. The using the power button on the console hold it for about 5 seconds till you hear two beeps. And this will reset the display settings.

Don't hold it to long or it will go on stand-by.

Also try reversing the ends of the HDMI
