The turn signal flashers on unidentified vehicles are usually above the pedals down under the dashboard on the driver's side. If you turn on a signal and look up into the wiring under the dash you should hear the clicking noise which might help you to locate the flasher unit. If the signal flasher isn't working or making noise, try the emergency flasher. The flasher units usually are close to each other and look alike.

if this is knocking combustion detonation, the engine will self destruct soon. ping or knock is cause by lean mixtures and very hot combustion, all very bad, do not go up hills that makes this worse.
i say get a shop to check it out. before it gets too costly to fix.

White smoke usually represents presence of oil burning off while the engine is firing along. It can cause misfires if there's enough oil to prevent the spark plug from firing properly. I had this happen on my car and it was caused by a failing Valve Cover Gasket. It might make sense replacing the Valve Cover and the Gasket, just make sure you use the Sealant if you do it yourself to ensure the valve cover and gasket seal to the Engine.
its possible you have a filter in your tank or farther up your line near the fuel rail. look for another filter and make sure you have fuel to the filter you just replaced. could have clogged it again if you have alot of rust and setament in your tank.
Hi, this may be a dirty injector. Try putting some injector cleaner in the gas tank to see if that will clear it up. If not, you may need to pull up the fuel rail and check the injector flow pattern.
