Light blinking no printing

Epson printer blinking different lights. The different lights blinking has different meaning and solutions. When the Epson printer red light blinking that means ink cartridge of your printer is out of ink. And when your printer green light blinking that means paper gets jammed inside the printer.

You can fix the Epson printer lights blinking error using following steps:

·Fix the paper jammed
·Check empty or damaged ink cartridge

Try disconnecting the computer from the printer and shutting it down by removing the power cord and then also shut down the computer for a minute or so and then reboot it and check in "Printers" and see if it has anything waiting to be printed and if so clear out the queue. Flashing green light indicates that the printer is receiving data from the computer and/or printing so you shut it all down and cold reboot to clear out the computer confusion in both the computer and the printer.

If the bottom amber colored light is blinking, the imaging drum needs replaced.

Blinking drop light on HP6122 signifies an ink cartridge is out of ink. There are two cartridges -- color (larger of two) and black (smaller of two). Blinking drop light only indicates either, but not which. HP6122 service software has a printer maintenance utility which includes ink cartridge monitor. Use the maitenance service utility to determine which (or both) cartridge is out of ink. With cartridge replacement, printer should automatically print test page, then reset and be ready for printing from your computer. To clear printed documents from print que, open the HP6122 print que via control panel > printers > double-click on HP6122 driver to show que > select document tab > select cancel.

Buttons and lights Purpose POWER button and light Push the POWER button to turn the printer off and on. When lit, the light shows that the printer is turned on. • The print cartridge is broken or incompatible. Lift the front cover, and wait for the print-cartridge cradle to slide out. Check the part numbers on the print cartridge:

If the print cartridges are compatible and correctly installed, they may be defective. Try replacing the print cartridges.
