Sounds like the valves in the Carburetor are stuck open, or the choke is stuck closed. either way the Carburetor will need to be removed and serviced.

try a different plug sometimes new plugs are no good

Check the breakers.take it back if its brand new.

Make sure your generator is rated high enough to run you a/c. Also is you a/c 120v or 240v? Do you have it plugged into the right voltage?

Check if a circuit breaker is tripped and reset it.

where could i find a mot capacitor for the 4500 series and what do they cost

Do you have automatic switch over in your system, or is there a receptacle where power cord stores, that you need to plug power cord into, for power from generator?

The generator output hooks to the transfer switch. It senses the power from gen or land power and switches accordingly to allow power into the breaker panel.
