The minimum memory requirement for vista is 1G of ram. It would be in your best interest to upgrade the ram to at least 4 Gig.

Lenovo Y410 System RAM can handle up to 2GB of memory. Since the machine has 2 slots for RAM and you already have 1GB preinstalled with the computer all you need to purchase is another stick of 1GB RAM.

There is no chance of upgrading Graphics card since it doesnt have a video card slot and the preinstalled VCARD is onboard.

What OS were you using when you upgraded? If you were using Windows 7, you could try to download and install the Windows 8 driver for the camera. These will often work under Windows 10.

Upgrade windows
The specs say this machine has a Core Duo processor, so it should support Windows 8. However, the RAM limit for this model is 2GB, so it'll be sluggish on 8. Windows 7 would be better.

It has a DVD drive, so it SHOULD be just a matter of buying the Windows 8 DVD and booting off the DVD into Windows 8 Setup. A 'clean install' is recommended; you may not be able to upgrade from your current version of Windows (this machine came with XP and Vista).

Specs say the Lenovo G560 067999U has max memory of 8gb. ordered 2x4gb for the total 8 upgrade and it won't take the 8. it will see 6gb not 8. did anyone else come up with this issue?
Hi, i have same notebook but not the same problem.
Maybe your graphic card taking some of memory or they make mistake in the PC shop.
Download CPU-Z utility http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html (download is on the right side)
Run it and go on Memory tab where you see your total RAM memory then you can go to SPD tab and see what memory exactly is installed in every slot.
