It should change by Time Zones and then Auto Update (Mode 321). It looks like your model was updated to the 321.. Perhaps you need a Firmware update, but my feeling is that it is a 21 year old television and it can't cope after Y2K and Time Server issues?

1. Point mouse to time and click > change date and time settings > change date and time > continue > select appropriate time and date > OK > apply > OK > DONE.

2. Go to bios settings change date and time > save settings

The BIOS battery keeps the Date & Time and the BIOS settings from changing. If the BIOS battery is flat then these settings are changed to the factory settings.
Yuo need to insert a new BIOS battery then go into the BIOS setting to set the Date & Time etc.

From the manual:
Press the SELECT button and position the cursor at the "TIME". At that moment, the "Hour" flashes. (The flashing means it can be changed.)
Change the "Hour". Press the CHANGE button to set the desired hour. Press the SET button. At that moment, the flashing changes from "Hour" to "Minute"
Change the "Minute". Press the CHANGE button to set the minute. and then press the SET button. At that moment, the "Second" starts to run from "00".
After you finish setting the time, press the SET button once again. Now the time setting has been completed.
Setting the Date

Here's the solution to your problem:
> Tap the "Change preferences" icon
> Tap the Arrow Icon until you reach the screen with the "Set Clock" Icon
> Tap how you would like the time displayed
> Tap done
> Set the correct time to display
> Tap Done

This will set the new time on your unit.

Press the SET button until you cycle through the alarms and the Colons on the time start to flash. use the right and left arrows from the CD buttons to adjust time; After time is set; press the SET button.
