I have had my ignition key seem like it would not turn.
I had to turn the steering wheel real hard back away from the ignition lock. Once I had to use both hands to do this while someone else turned my key. But when I turned the steering wheel hard enough in the opposite direction, the key finally turned.

The steering wheel was turned when the key was removed. So when you try to turn on the key, turn the wheel one way and the other way to release the pressure on the key. The key should turn ok.
Hope this helps.

The ignition key won't turn likely because the shifter linkage that locks the key in OFF is worn or loose. Move the shifter linkage hard to the Park position and the key will turn. Have the linkage adjusted and the worn parts replaced

Ignition wont turn

if you mean the key won`t turn to start the car you may have a worn key and or ignition switch. try another key to see if its the key. also make sure there is not tension on the ignition by way of the steering wheel being turned in the full left or right turn causing tension on the ignition.

Key won't turn in ignition

If your steering wheel is locked, turn it a bit away from the locked position. Key should turn now.

Otherwise, you may need to replace the ignition or you have a bad copy of a key.

1998 Plymouth grand voyager ignition won't turn

I have had this happen on my 98 Voyager. Just have a new key cut. This new key will sometimes cure the problem. The older keys get worn out and won't unlock the ignition. Try this before a much more expensive and time consuming change of the ignition.
