Select TOOLS, then MY DATA then DELETE FAVORITES then select the addresses you wish to delete.
Unfortunately the MY DATA option doesn't exist on the 660. You can delete a single address by doing the following:
1. Select Where to? / Favorites.
2. Select the address you want to delete
3. Select Edit...
4. Select Delete
To delete all addresses (favorites), do the following:
1. Turn the device off.
2. Turn it back on again, while pressing the top left corner of the screen.
3. Eventually it will ask you if you want to enter mainentance mode. Select Yes.
4. The bottom option should be something like "Delete all waypoints". Select this option.
This will delete all your favorites and some locale information, which it will ask you for again after it reboots.

Garmin NUVI 660 instructions
It is pretty easy to open up your nuvi,(but not recommended
by Garmin or me)...
looking at your nuvi from the back flip up the antenna. You will see two tiny
torx screws on the antenna. Remove them and carefully seperate the antenna
housing. Pay attention to how the antenna flex is seated because reassembling
the antenna housing can be tricky. On the left bottom side the pin assembly
that holds the antenna in is spring loaded. Pull the pin towards the center and
you will be able to seperate the antenna housing from the unit. Underneath you
will find two more tiny torx screws holding the main housing togather. Remove
those two screws and you are almost home. Now you need the special plastic tool
that you can get on ebay. The tool is used for opening ipods without mangling
them. Gently pry the case apart with this tool. Start where ever it is easiest
to get the tool in. Once opened you can figure the rest out for yourself. The
battery is flat and rectangular and is seated behind the circuit bourd attached
to the back cover.
SOURCE: Garmin Nuvi 660 lost Europe maps
Eventually managed to speak to a man at Garmin who confirmed that it was not loading any European maps because it didn't have enough spare memory to load them all. He said that he would email me instructions for freeing up sufficient memory, the email never arrived but I decided to delet all the voice languages that were no use to me and all the other language 'help' files and tried again - it worked.
At no point did I get a 'insufficiant memory' warning, which would have been very helpful, nor is there any guidance for how much memory will be required when embarking on the update. Take note Garmin...

SOURCE: garmin nuvi won't turn on
folks, the garmins have an on-board battery that needs to be powered up (at least occasionally) via the usb port - like from your computer. just using the dc car power cord does nothing for this battery. i've had this exact same problem on both my 760 and 780 nuvi units. fixed it using the usb charge. seems to run down differently for all the various nuvi models. my regular charge will hold for 7 hours on my old 660, my 760 and 780 work about 5 hours. my 'power up' failed on the 660 after 10 months with no internal battery charge, but the 7xx models only took about 5-6 months to 'fail.' hope this helps. jack b :-) in midland, tx usa
