Laptop screen fades in and out

The screen is dying. It is time to replace it. eBay.com is a good source.

Could be a loose connection from the motherboard to screen , screen is still operable , log in to windows and check your display properties , connect your laptop to an external screen if you can so you know motherboard connected hardware ie graphics card is ok

The LCD screen is at fault. If your lappy is in warranty try replacing it. It would cost araound $50-$80

this thing happened in my laptop also i got green screen fully
then when i hit it behind the screen it was gone but comes many times then again i would hit
later on the screen was completly lost then had to replace the screen
yous is a starting period so go to a nearby computer service and fix the screen

If you only had it since December, the laptop should still be under warranty. Call Toshiba? Also check when it is on, have you tried looking closer to the screen and see if there is a faded image? If there is a faded picture. then your laptop's inverter has died

It sounds like defective LCD backlight. Bring your laptop to an authorized repair shop.
